Frontier Masonic Lodge 766 is the result of a change of name granted by the Grand Lodge of Texas in December of 2007. We were formally Alpine Masonic Lodge 766. In 1995, Marfa Lodge 596 and Jefferson Davis Lodge 896 merged with Alpine Masonic Lodge 766. Even earlier, in 2003, Culberson Lodge 1232 had merged into the Marfa Lodge No. 596. Members from all four lodges now attend meetings in Alpine.
